Beau Smith BvL competed at the USA Freestyle Duals in Indianapolis this weekend. Team Ohio was crowned national runner ups! Losing to Illinois in the finals 55-23. Beau Smith was 6-1 on the weekend and is an All American.

6th Annual Cambridge Wrestling /Cambridge Biddy League Football
Wiffle Ball Tournament.
The event will take place on Sunday June 7th 2015 ( Rain Date
June 14th) on the lower softball field and the biddy league football field.
Little League Division - Players must be 12 & Under. The entry fee is $36.00 per
team. Trophies will be issued for 1st and 2nd place finishes. Babe Ruth
Division- Players must be 13-15. The entry fee is $42.00 per team. Trophies
will be issued for 1st and 2nd place finishes.
Open Division - Players must be 16 & Up. The entry fee is $80.00
per team. Cash payout will be issued for 1st, 2nd, and possibly 3rd place
finishes. These payout will be based on total amount of entry fee's. Sign ups at
Biddy League Football parking lot 7:30 – 9:30am. Games Start at 10am.
Max of 16 Teams Per Divison - First 16 teams that are present. Please make

University High School will be hosting the 1st annual Superior Photo and Frame
Scholarship tournament. The tournament will be held December 4 and 5. This is
going to be a great event! Scholarships will be issued to select athletes! We
already have quality in-state and out-of-state teams committed. 2nd team
wrestlers will be allowed to enter the tournament at no extra entry fee! There is going to be a website created for team registration and
seeding as well as information for fans. Tournament will be done on
trackwrestling with real time results and possible live streaming. There will be
some clinics and seminars planned for wrestlers, parents and coaches covering
technique, leadership and NCAA info. There will be more info forthcoming.

Logan Ours wrestled Broderick Harris last year in the finals. Broderick and his two brothers along with their grandmother died in a fire the day after Christmas. After his finals match yesterday, with tears in his eyes, Logan gave his finalist singlet to Broderick's parents Ricky and Traci Harris. I can't think of a better act of sportsmanship. He is a true champion.
